Hi, Guys! Today we're going to do a picture/tutorial; in other words, a pictorial. 😊 I like that word, makes me wanna say it again. For my own peace of mind, I don't want to assume that everyone already knows how to attach the men's mask clip (pictured above) to a mask or to their caps/hats either for that matter so I've prepared a tutorial and video instructional lesson as well in case you can't really see what's going on in the pictures. If after reviewing them you still can't quite get it, feel free to contact me on WhatsApp at (260)901-2630. You can find all of my contact information here. Let's jump right in.
We'll be using a simple overhand knot, and I've started off by placing a picture of the knot above as well so that you can see what it looks like. It's basically the base of the knot we use to tie our shoes! It's going to look a little different because we're working with one closed loop but the concept and steps are exactly the same. Once you think of it that way, it's basic and becomes a breeze.
I'll put my closing tips here for editing sake. I would suggest attaching the clips to one side of your cap/hat and placing it on your head before clipping the other clip to your cap. Otherwise, I've found that your face gets in the way. Also, if you will be using a mask with a definite "this side up" situation; be mindful of that when you are attaching your clips because you Can definitely clip your mask on upside down as you'll see in this video.
Other than that, these clips will serve to take the stress and strain off of your ears and neck that prolonged mask wearing can cause so they are a definite plus. They keep your mask at hand and uncontaminated since you won't be placing it on questionable surfaces or leaving it in the car (well, as long as you don't leave your car in the car.) 😁 If you're unsure about the product, try a set and see how you like them and then buy enough for each mask you own. That way, you can have them pre-attached to your masks when you launder them and rotate them them your caps with ease. Then you just have to reattach them once each time you do laundry, don't forget, it's the same knot you use to tie your shoes. No Excuses fellas!
Step 1. Put the elastic through clip flange, keeping hold of end of elastic.
Step 2 Slide entire mask through gap in elastic in between your fingertips.
4. The clips are ready to be attached to your cap/hat.
3. Pull mask until elastic make a taut, secure knot.
